If your team uses D4H to track attendance, trainings, events, or incidents, you can connect your D4H calendar to K9 Training Log. Once connected, K9TL can show your D4H events on your training calendar as suggested entries. From there, you can add them to your K9TL calendar, edit the details, and create training logs for the exercises you want to document. This can save time by pre-filling details like:
  • Event name
  • Date & time
  • Location
  • Notes from D4H

Click "My Calendar"

Scroll to the bottom of the page and copy the iCal Link

This is a private calendar link, so treat it like a password. Anyone with the link may be able to view the calendar events it contains.\

Connect D4H in K9 Training Log

  1. Open K9 Training Log
  2. Click Settings in the sidebar
  3. Click D4H Integration
  4. Paste in your D4H iCal URL
  5. Click Connect D4H

Sync your D4H Calendar

After D4H is connected, K9TL can sync your D4H calendar from the Training Calendar. You will see a small D4H sync status near the top of the calendar. Click it any time you want to sync manually.

Add a D4H event to your K9TL calendar

D4H events will appear on your Training Calendar as suggested entries. To add a D4H event to K9TL:
  1. Click the D4H suggested event
  2. Click Add to K9TL Calendar
  3. Review the event details
  4. Edit anything you want to change
  5. Click Create Event
The event will then become a regular K9TL training event. You can open it just like any other event and add training exercises.

Hide a D4H Suggestion

If a D4H event is not something you want to track in K9TL, you can hide it.
  1. Click the D4H suggested event
  2. Click Hide suggestion
The event will be removed from your K9TL calendar suggestions.
